...it's so sad, and sweet. It's clearly about someone who has lost somebody they were in love with and...well, the title kind of says it all. It could be losing someone because they died, or they're no longer together because of a breakup, but it doesn't really matter. It's just about losing someone you love. 'But I don't want you thinking I don't get asked to dinner 'Cause I'm here to say that I sometimes do Even though I may soon feel the touch of love I just don't think I'll ever get over you' 'If I lived 'til I was 102 I just don't think I'll ever get over you ' I love the way he sings this. His life is going back to normal, he does the things he used to do, and he might even fall in love again...but no matter what, he'll never forget about that on person. Even time won't stop him. He's not bitter, he's calm and content, but always a little melancholy. It's sweet, and sad. It's honesty, plain and simple.
