nobody has commented on this? weeeiird...to me, it's one of the standout tracks on 'lost souls'.
anyway, I always thought that he was saying 'drown with me' which gave the song a much more depressed/suicidal vibe. it could still be about suicide or something, though. maybe he's gonna drive his car into the sea. but then why would he ask somebody to 'drive with' him? so maybe he's just goin' down to the beach with a friend to talk. but the 'do the things you won't believe' line still bugs me...what won't he/she believe? maybe he is gonna off himself, just not by driving his car into the water...
on another note, I was walking to school one day a few years ago listening to this song and it was winter and there was snow everywhere and it was windy and I passed a house that had a little wind vane in the yard and it was turning slowly and I stared at it for a bit...it seemed appropriate.
