instead of: It’s not even like that…but you’ve somewhere to be. & It's not even like that.

it's actually: It's not even light out but you've somewhere to be. & It's not even light out.

anyways: really awesome song to end the album with. one of my favorites from it.

song is about something being wrong between two people and in their relationship. one is walking out with the car keys to leave(somewhat abrutly, i gather) and the other is asking them to stop and just talk to them. the one leaving is ready to throw it all away, while the other is scared and willing to work everything out. they convinced things will seem better if they just sleep or talk about it in the morning after sleep.

is it just me, or does it sound like there is something being thrown by who ever the speaker is speaking to? like when it says "Don't, oh (smash)"

maybe they were having a fight and actual things were being thrown like a glass or something, or it could be him throwing away the relationship and the thought of it is being portrayed as the "smash" sound

just a thought

The lines "bulldoze the life out of me" and "you're scaring me to death" lead me to believe that there is more to it than just a fight. The couple have a heated argument which leads one to get too carried away with his emotions and in the heat of the moment commits murder.
