what's to say this song is about a romantic interest? cuomo never says "i'm in love with you," just that he loves whoever the song is about. seems intentionally platonic to me, more about the non-romantic imtimacy between two best friends. i don't really see the whole unrequited love angle here. but i like the simplicity of the song.
