This song is probably one of my favourites of their new material. Daron Malakian shows his great singing voice on this song, showing that hes more than just the crazy guitar guy that screams at random intervals of a song. This song is about how Hollywood can corrupt a person.

"They find you, two time you Say you’re the best they’ve ever seen You should have never trusted Hollywood"

Basically saying that people in Hollywood use you, and corrupt your mind, and make you think of yourself as the best. Thus making you a money hungry whore.

I May be wrong, but I listened to this while reading 'Catcher in the Rye'and realized that a lot of things seem to coincide with Holden's view of things. For example, «Phony people come to pray» Dunno whats with the «pray» part, but PHONY PEOPLE, i mean anyone who's read the 2 1st pages of catcher in the rye probably knows that the main character is constantly labeling people as phony, and that he finds hollywood to be the most phony place in the world full of phony people and people who prostitute themselves to make money. Just a thought...

You're both wrong...this song is directed towards the prostitutes that (were once) notoriously found standing around on these streets smoking cigarettes while waiting to get picked up.
