Lyric discussion by Lepra Messias

I'm German, and until coming across SongMeanings.net I didn't even know that Rammstein changed some of their songs into English versions. I found some of these new versions to be lyrically poorer than the original; it might have to do with them not being quite so fluent in English, but also with the fact that several songs rely on word-play, most of which will inevitably get lost in any translation. Having said that, THIS version is one of the best translations I have come across here. In the original, the line "Es kocht die Eifersucht" means "jealousy is cooking" or "boiling", as a metaphor for "jealousy is raging". "WE're cooking jealousy" fits the mood much better, I think. Good one!
