Lyric discussion by inconstanti

I can't find any actual reference to a suicide. Lyrically, it's the classic story, two persons from different backgrounds find tragedy in a love which is not meant to be. This by itself is a downfall and a tragedy, at which thw song hints. It`s definitely not a happy story, and one that will end badly, but not necessarily in death.

@inconstanti On their live album, he mentions that it's about a joint suicide.

@inconstanti There's no real evidence in the song that she's in love with him. He talks of her like a white knight who saved her without asking. When he first lays with her she weeps. He decides they should both die because his parents (not both their parents, just his - the ones he thinks matter) won't consent to it. He doesn't say anything particularly nice about her other than that she's "sweet" and "untouched". He insults her parents, her childhood, her background, and then kills her.
