Isla de Encanta is simply Black's ode to Puerto Rico where he spent sometime overtime over there during college. No doubt did that have a huge influence on him. It is no secret that Black Francis has a love for the beach life "I am the beach goer but there is no beach".To go from U-Mass (not that great of surfing up there) to talking about his island of enchantment where there is no suffering.
