Lyric discussion by freakishfae

This song has a major logical fallacy that is so obvious it's probably intentional: "I declare war on the war against drugs", ect. Although this song clearly comes from a very angry perspective and, hey, anger isn't logical. It is clearly addressing the problems in the world today. I can sympathize from this point of view quite a lot. Sometimes it just makes your blood boil, and the angry tone of the song conveys this very well. I just love how venomously sarcastic Lucia's vocals are when she sings "Worldwar three - be all that you can be". An excellent song from an excellent album--one of KMFDM's best, in my opinion.

There's nothing illogical about it. It's perfectly illogical. The song is all about "declaring war" on things that are useless or harmful while simultaneously satirizing the concept of declaring war on things. It's actually a pretty brilliant song.

The "War on Drugs" is a complete waste of time and money.
