i sense sarcasm, or bitterness. i'm not sure what exactly, but she doesn't exactly seem so sure of herself when she is speaking of winning someone back, making them stay with her (and she speaks of this in a somewhat apathetic tone, like she wouldn't mind either way).
and also there are the lines,
"Though dreams can be deceiving like faces are to hearts
They serve for sweet relieving when fantasy and reality lie too far apart"
that is the part where i stop believing she is speaking of his feelings and not her own.
