The Bible doesn’t say outright if Delilah gave Samson some devil’s lettuce or not, but it does add to the narrative in a meaningful way and isn’t too far fetched. The point is simply that she lulled him into a sense of security and used everything at her disposal, a.k.a. sex, maybe drugs, etc.
