To me, this song has really a really special meaning. It prolly isnt what Nickel Creek was trying to portray but this is just what i get out of it:
My best friend (and former boyfriend) left for his life long dream of being in the Air Force and i had a really hard time with it. Then I heard this song and i was in tears because it really shows everything i was feeling. I am so proud of him, and miss him so much. But he calls me every weekend, and he knows that he always has me back home when things get tough. It was hard to watch him go, but I know that this is his dream and he is loving every minute of it. and he knows that I am always with him every time he goes up in the air!
