I really like this song. This might sound silly to some of you...but doesn't it remind you of the cartoon An American Tale? I always thought the first verse said, "Miles away/From our russian home" and then the part where he says, "Still we fall aleep underneath the same sky" reminds me of the song Fieval sings to his sister in the movie. I know it's silly, but that's what it makes me think of.
This song came out a week after my 15 yr old sister died. As an artist and guitar player it comforted me that she was in heaven learning from those that had gone before. (She was a big Kurt Cobain fan) I found peace in remembering her through this song. Every word was right on! Now I am beyond awestruck as some people compare this to the American Tale song!
