Wow, nobody's posted about "Pig." It's pretty much my favorite DMB song, so here's my take on it (though it's pretty straightforward for the most part).
"Pig" is basically a serious kind of cheer-up song. Death is inevitable, but, regardless of what happens after we die, we can enjoy the time we have here through love. Don't waste your time.
