@jamfan It could be another relationship but as GunsNRosesGirl points out it is unlikely that this would be a situation for Axl to get himself in so couldn't it be more possible that it was a long distance relationship. in the first line it sais "shed a tear cuz I'm missing you" maybe this is too literal, but skype wasn't around then and they could have not seen each other for a few months or so. If another person was in the way than they still would be able to meet sometimes and he wouldn't miss her in that exact...
