Indeed this is a song about an actual cab ride taken by the boys in SF. And listening to Kelly speak about him, he definately did NOT like the guy. By all accounts the cab driver was very critical of them ("No artists anymore / You're only in it now / To make more, more, more") and anything else he could bring to mind, venting his spleen on almost any topic he could. After the cab ride, he put on a big smile and said "Have a Nice Day" as if he hadn't just ranted at them!
