Radiohead's Thom Yorke is looking for a new name for his solo career - and has turned to comedian Adam Buxton for suggestions.
We told you the other day about the new front man for Sublime. And now we've learned of yet another once-popular band getting a new front man.
Pennywise front man, Jim Lindberg, left the band last week after spending 19 years with the group. No reasons were given for his departure, but the three remaining group members pledged to keep the band going.
The remaining group members have tapped Ignite's Zoli Teglas to fill the front man role for an upcoming tour, the Smokeout Festival. Teglas' addition within Pennywise is only temporary. The band is still actively looking for a full time front man.

Well, it's official. Sublime is booking a performance as their reunited act's first official show. Let us not forget that Bradley Nowell, original singer and guitarist for Sublime, is still dead.
Instead, the two surviving Sublime members have tapped a new front man, Rome. They'll make their "reunited" performance as part of the Smokeout Festival on October 23rd and 24th at the San Manuel Amphitheatre in San Bernardino, California.
Sublime came apart in 1996 when Nowell died of a heroin overdose.

In 1989, Nirvana released it's debut album, Bleach. The album paved the way for Cobain and company to release it's 1991 album, Nevermind, which sparked a music revolution.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Bleach, Sub Pop Records will re-release the album as a two-disc anniversary edition album. This new version has been remastered by the original producer, Jack Endino.
The album will also contain a 1990 live set recorded in Portland. In addition to this, the album will come with a 16 page informative booklet.

So there is talk of a new "digital album" being released. These "digital albums" will include artist notes, artwork, lyrics, and videos. The industry hopes these "digital albums" will help generate more of a revenue stream for artists' albums.
