Lyrics for Crash Into Me as interpreted by Demau Senae

Crash Into Me Lyrics
You've got your ball
you've got your chain
tied to me tight tie me up again
who's got their claws
in you my friend
Into your heart I'll beat again
Sweet like candy to my soul
Sweet you rock
and sweet you roll
Lost for you I'm so lost for you

You come crash into me
And I come into you
I come into you
In a boys dream
In a boys dream

Touch your lips just so I know
In your eyes, love, it glows so
I'm bare boned and crazy for you
When you come crash
into me, baby
And I come into you
In a boys dream
In a boys dream

If I've gone overboard
Then I'm begging you
to forgive me
in my haste
When I'm holding you so girl
close to me

Oh and you come crash
into me, baby
And I come into you
Hike up your skirt a little more
and show the world to me
Hike up your skirt a little more
and show your world to me
In a boys dream.. In a boys dream

Oh I watch you there
through the window
And I stare at you
You wear nothing but you
wear it so well
tied up and twisted
the way I'd like to be
For you, for me, come crash
into me

ok to be completely honest at first glance and the few snippets i had heard of dave...i thought they sucked royal ass...but after a while a friend of mine who happens to be a huge DMB fan started making me listen to their stuff when we would jam out with our guitars and we would get inspired by listening to their songs and then jus jam out for hours and now im in love with them me and my friend are goin to see dave 2 times in 3 days once in VA and once in PA and i cant wait and damn im glad i actually gave them a chance because they are easily one of the most talented bands that ever walked gods green earth

also one thing that bugs me about the whole sellout deal is that if u wanna look at a band that has "soldout" DMB is the completely wrong direction to be lookin in all bands change their sound a little over time, they tweek a guitar sound here and there or maybe a drum line every now and then everyband does it and there are always significant changes to everybodys work as they mature in the business DMB jus happen to have a shitload of loyal fans is because they are some of the most talented musicians ever and their music appeals to a huge demographic a DMB show isnt jus those abercrombie and fitch, birkenstock wearing ppl. its parents mother, fathers, sons, daughters, young, old, black, white, and if thats why DMB gets called sellouts well then so be it because the true fans know the truth!!

i read in an interview with dave matthews himself that this song is a love song. its a boy staring at a girl though a window but not because he is a peeping tom. he loves her but lost her already and wants nothing more than to have her back. yes...there is sex involved but it not just about getting a her pants. its a love song. and by the way i have listened to music before 1990 including chicago and the beatles and i happen to like DNB alot better. dave matthews is a wonderful guitar player and vocalist. the band wouldnt have survived this long if he wasnt. if you dont like DMB, thats fine but dont say that their fans are wearing a stamp. also i saw them at darien lake on 6/20 and they were AMAZING!

God, everytime I hear this song it takes me back to the biggest crush I had on this handsome guy who worked where I did. Only he did not know I existed, nevertheless I made sure everyday to wear a short skirt in the hopes that he would notice me and I would also look out for him. Knowing he was at work made me feel better. This song brings those days back.....hmm.....

What is this "Seeeeeeeexxxxxxxx" you speak of? lol. Amsie I have to agree with every one of your words. I believe Bort_The_(so-called)Great has this site mistaken for Urbandictionary.com If you like BS and cussing and pointless arguement go there. You can not win if you are 1 in 108 that Hates DMB. Anyways I saw the Final Fantasy Musicvideo for this song and it made me think about its meaning. He says"In a boy's dream" Which is probably why everyone thinks he's talking about a teenager. "Boy" simply means a male. I think this is about a guy who is falling in love with a girl that he either can't get our doesn't have the courage to tell. So he remains behind the window tied up with ball and chain.

This song takes back to a time that I think I get over but it keeps crashing back to me. Not so much the words, in away I guess, but just the feeling the music evokes. The girl, the only girl that I have been obsessed with ever since the first moment I saw her. It's been over 6 years since that fateful night. I think of her a lot, mostly when I'm alone, or in the early spring when the flowers first bloom. I know, that it wouldn't have worked out even if it could have, would have been so. Or at least that's what I imagine. I've had girl friends, and I've gone on dates, but no one has ever came close to her, or at least what I think is her. Because I never really knew her, something inside me made me to afraid to approach her. To afraid, it wasn't that she was unapproachable. But it doesn't matter now always, does it. She has brought something more, something she may never know. Its pain, but I use that pain for the best of what I can. So maybe that's why she's there, I see her from time to time with another guy. She'll never know. So I send this out to the only girl that I never knew, but I can't get over: Courtney Crallie.

it's totally awesome how dm can take something like sex and turn it into something beautiful, like it should be. he doesn't distort it and turn it into a vile, selfish act like rappers do.

Hey guys! This song was actually inspired by an essay written by Joyce Carol Oates. It is about a girl who is a sort of tease and one day a man, who had been watching her from afar, comes into her home and kidnaps her. You guys should check it out. XOXO!

Even though I know this song is about love of another person, for me it holds the meaning of a love for a place. Let me explain...I was living in Boulder, Colorado in 2001 and that was when I first heard of DMB (I was 12/13) and i saw his videos on mtv. This is the only place i have ever been happy and when i moved the songs reminded me of home. Every time i hear this song i am inspired to go home--and i will in less than 2 years.

Regardless of other comments, in my opinion this song is perhaps one of the most beautiful dave love songs I've ever heard. It's great for a slow dance too, my gf melts when I sing it to her while we're dancing. Give frigger a break here people, somebody had to have at least one particular person that they loved who never made them feel the same way again. On another note, Dave's explaination about Crash before he plays it is hilarious. The whole peeping tom thing and stuff, it made me laugh anyway. Don't know about yall.

On VH1 Storytellers with Tim Reynolds, I forgot to add. That's what I was referring to.

Oh yeah, in response to a post made over a year ago by somebody with the sn silhouette. First of all, dmb is my favorite band, however there are others my list of favorites. I do listen to the beatles, and one of my favorite songs is "Hey Jude" which was one of their last big hits before they seperated. I think the whole "Paul is dead" thing was really intriguing, especially with the whole "Abbey Road" conspiracy. As we all know, Paul isn't dead. My favorite jazz musician, who is often considered overrated, is "The Satch" Louis Armstrong. I like Miles Davis and Dizzy Gillespie as well. Dizzy could wail on a trumpet hardcore. Duke Ellington, is my favorite Jazz Composer. I also enjoy many blues artists like B.B. King, Robert Lockwood Jr., Lightning Hopkins Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Son House, Sonny Boy Williamson, Blind Willie Johnson, and Robert Johnson (who I think along with many others is the greatest Blues musician's ever, and the godfather of all forms of Blues music as we know it) to name a few. I also have an exhaustive list of other musicians I listen to, like Skynyrd, Neil Young, Bread, Carlie Simon, The Allman Brothers, Fleetwood Mac, Jimi Hendrix, The Stones, Janis Joplin, and Led Zeppelin. So to say that some dmb fans have not listened to any music before 1990, and are not musically cultured is an absurd statement.
