It's about the press making comments about Axl's big ego. This song is his reponse, by asking the press to "Suck his dick"

This is a great song, especially the intro. Incidentally Mick Wall claimed that what he said about Axl in Kerrang was true. Basically some member of Motley Crue (i think Vince Neil) said something about Izzy. In an interview with Mick Wall Axl responded by saying he want to kick Vince Neil's ass although the language he used was significantly more vulgar. Anyway Mick Wall went over it again with Axl before publishing it in Kerrang and Axl OK'd it. Immediately it caused all sorts of controversy and Vince Neil challeged axl to a fight at some awards ceromony. Axl then denied he had said it and then criticised Mick Wall in this song. The song is basically about the media who make money by printing lies and then kids spend their hard-earned to read these lies about the bands they love. Ironically, Axl not only sung lies in this song but didn't care much about the fans who paid hard-earned money to see them play but had to wait hours before Axl turned up. I still love him though coz he's so fucking talented.

ok, to straighten a few things up here:
after a show vince neil (motley crue) sucker punched izzy for hitting his wife (id say thats justfied). izzy didnt care much about it afterwards since they actually used to be friends(he even called vince and apologized), and slash duff and steven were good friends to motley crue since years so they had no problem with vince. but axl suddenly started some sort of press war where he acted like if he was the king of the world and he was gonna show the motley crue this and that, saying that they had insulted guns n roses for years(yeah right).
it was AXL who challanged vince to fights but never showed up himself. after a while vince got so fucking pissed that he challanged axl to a fight in TV and thats about it.

Anybody notice that the crowd seems to be saying the bandmembers names before the song starts? Or that they happily chant "Get in the Ring" long after they stop playing? Who sings the part that starts with "You got your bitches with
the silicone injections"?

I love this song, it gets me really pumped!

I've only recently started to listen to use your illusions 1 and 2 and this is definitely one of my favorites. The lyrics seem correct except at the end I think Slash says "And to all those who pose" instead of opposed, I think its who pose, you can hear theres no "d".
