Being unsure of being in love, basically.
i think that "november rain" in the song is a metaphor for the world being cruel.

This song in my opinion is the best Depressing love song there ever was. This song hits the heart like a shotgun especially when , you just broke up with someone, a loved one dies, or your having relationship problems, constant fighting ect. This is one of those songs that you wanted to put on a cd, and let them know exactly how you felt, when you send it to them in the mail.
Cold November Rain.. The worst part within a relationship the tough times, no one wants them, but we all have to go through it. Nothing lasts forever, not even cold november rain...

This song really sets your mind in a dream like state, with its innocent , cruel, ashamed, loving , and sometimes without words,... I put this song in my all time top 10 book..

i live in australia and i enjoy november rain it ussaly means the end of the winter drought and is quite hevy so u can ride ur boddy bords at the local river

The guy is in agony because something the chick he digs is taken. The chick kinda digs him, too, but there's something getting in the way of her switching guys. He's finally half given up - the current boyfriend is like november rain -- it makes you completely miserable, but you know eventually it will go away.

Basically, something along the lines of what Vincent Vega would have been thinking on his drive home if he hadn't found Mia Wallace OD'ing, or something.

One of the best songs ever as far as i am concerned. Great song, greay lyrics, amazing, yet very confusing video. what more can be asked of a song. to me this song is reality of dating. like someone said before me, we all know that fights come and fights go nothing lasts forever. but i also think this song could also be about getting through that. When the rain is done the sun comes out and everything is beautiful again, can we make it through the november rain? the end is saying everybody needs somebody, kinda like saying hey we can make it through i need you and u need me 2

"sometimes I need some time on my own..sometimes I need some time all alone" That pretty much sums it up I think. To me, this song is about being so in love with someone, you get so wrapped up in them that you forget about yourself. When you lose them, you realize how much of yourself you missed out on, and how much of yourself they took with them. But..you can't be afraid to lose them and miss out on the love you share, either.

This song is just an absolute piece of art. It's so beautiful and yet so true. "Nothing lasts forever and we both know hearts can change." That just says it all. The music with the guitar and the piano kicks ass...the song is just awesome
