WHAT HE IS REALLY TALKING ABOUT IN THIS SONG IS MICHIGAN CITY PRISON IN INDIANA.

I think that this song is about DRUGS SEX and ROCK N ROLL just the whole "Rocker" lifestyle back in the 80's (best time era ever) he talks about drugs...

I had two thoughts on this song...

1. I thought possibly it could be a relation to the garden of Eden. "I wanna watch you bleed" could be something that that serpant is thinking. "My serpantine" could be the serpant.

2. It could be talking about Las Vegas

It was said by Axl that he was in a big city lik LA and a hobo guy or something came up and said "Welcome to the Jungle your gonna die" so he wrote a song about it

this song is about tempted by the wild hollywood life during the 80's. one side is that you'll have fun and be famous and another side is that you'll destroyed you life. axle doesn't really pick a side here, but his main purspose is just to give you thought. there is a saying that it's really about the truth to a idea but the thought it invokes. because the truth tend to change, because the idea have change.
