to me this is how life is for anyone who is in the shits. examples being if you are a punk, metal head, goth what ever there are the fuckers that are always after you and you cant hide they wont rest till you bleed or till you change... i mean it can happen anywhere were the population is more of the norm than the unusual.. I was introduced to this song by a guy named Ren. Whenever he saw me he would sing, "Shananananananana knees," because my name is Shannon..so Ren Jones, if you're out there, thank you. hi there how yall doin im so glad weve got peole like slickvic that can jump to the defense of a good band i abslutley love GNR and why is everybody talking about Slash yeah hes awsome but as far as being the whole band thats a crock of shit axl is a genius and hes definately not a nobody hes axl rose a legend in every sense of the word a lyrical genius and does evrybody seem to forget izzy who also wrote alot of GNR stuff and when he departed the band had lost a great talent and a wonderful writer i think thier just amazing they atarted a whole new generation and were an insparation for other bands of that time like Bon jovi but all and all ther frikin great.!!!!!!!!!!!

and what i think the song means i know what peole are saying by saying its about drugs with the lyrics "if youve got the money honey we got your disease" but i think going by the video aswell its about the whole band as they just came on to the scene a bunch of fresh faced rockers openiong a whole new world of madness with pain and hurt drugs and prostitution they new there was no turning back once they were in the jungle it was a whole new ball game

Guns-N-Roses forever....they are possibly the best band out of the 80's period. Now its a little closer to Velvet Revolver...but they arent that good...bring back AXL!!!!!!

Easy, this song is about life, and how no matter who you are it is rough, it is about taking advantage of what you see, Jungle is describing the world and how fucked up it is, I am amazed at how a guy in the 80's can tell how fucked up it would be in the 90s and 2000s

You know what? YOU SICKEN ME! If you had one successful firing of a synapse in what must be the lamest most shriveled up excuse for a brain you would know that not only are Guns n Roses' lyrics fucking great, but their music is undeniably ingenious! Maybe you should pull the dick out of your ear and listen before you pass petty judgements on one of the most talented rock bands of all time! How many roses songs have you ever taken time out of your ass-shaking schedule to listen to? Have you even listened to this song, or did you just READ the lyrics?! I love this song. I'd say what its about but everybody else has said already so what's the point? Just want say Slash is kewl, a brilliant guitarist and gorgeous. Much better than Axl!

It's pointless to compare band members. A band is made up of whatever each individual member can bring to it, and it's these unique parts that make a whole. crazicooki, you say that Slash is "much better than Axl", but that comment is utterly pointless. Axl couldn't possibly play guitar like Slash, but there's no way Slash could ever match Axl's sreech that we've all come to love so much. And Izzy and the rest all brought their own vital part to the band as well. The band all of them together - not any individual, and they all do their own bit to complement the others. So please stop comparing.

Great band, great song. Anyone have the greatest hits album? It's good, but I just wish there some more upbeat ones like this on it. Even though the ballads are great, there's too many on that disk.

How the hell does Axl do that "Kn-kn-kn-kn-kn-kn-kn-kn-knees!" bit so goddam FAST?!! I bloody well can't!

For some reason, I never used to like this song, but it's grown on me. I had it in my head all day once - yesterday, actually - and it was a nightmare because I wanted to actually HEAR it and it was never on...I heard it today though. w00t!

Why would these lyrics sicken you, raptor98? I think they're pretty clever - not to mention hilarious (in a good way, mind...)
