    General Comment:This song it's for me I always search for the love of my father and I always what to disappear when I was with him. He was in from of me and never see me or just talking to me. The only thing he was doing was to put me down all the time by insulting me and hitting my mother. I just want to change my last name because I just don't want to have his name anymore.

    General Comment:I think the song is about somebody who has had a troubled past, at least there are many parts of this persons past that they would like to disappear from and the best way to do that is to just leave without any connection to this persons past before it gets the best of him as it almost did when this person reflects about becoming unclear and almost gone.

    I can relate to this song, I wish to just move away from everything I am and have ever been connected to and start a new beginning. I really don't see another way without my past consuming me to my own demise.

    General Comment:It's called Capricorn (I think) because that's his star sign (26th Dec - See Santa Through The Back Door). Could be another reason, though.

    General Comment:i found it strange that Jared Leto is born December 26th and that would make him a Capricorn and that where the sign of Capricorn's exaltation is in the planet of Mars.. this song to me is about Jared's life starting over in a career that most celebrities attempt, but fail at miserably, which is music.

    General Comment:The name '30 Seconds to Mars' really has no correlation(sp) to space. It came from a book in which the author wrote, "We are all 30 seconds to mars.". Meaning what? We are all out there?

    And to further more conjour into the thoughts of the album, the songs have NOTHING to do with space. Jared once said that the words he used seemed to be the best to describe what he was feeling, but also best to keep it secretive.

    And yes, Jared Leto was born on December 26th, which MIGHT have something to do with the song, Capricorn (A Brand New Name). But also might have something to do with the fact that it's so close to the new year, maybe he's waiting to start anew the next year?

    Oblivion and Buddha For Mary are pretty much the best songs..EVER. Kthnxbai.

    He's hiding away into himself, tearing himself up over something. Then he decides to start over, to start again and he sees clearly.

    Just a moment away from becoming unclear
    Ever get the feeling you're gone"

    He was close to the edge, ready to lose it whether that be sanity or life. The lowest point of his rough time or depression or both.

    I can relate to that meaning. But it's just an opinion.
