Lyrics for 93 Million Miles as interpreted by flashflatliner

93 Million Miles Lyrics
Where does your garden grow?
Tell me the secrets that you know
Another time, another place
Where are the holy ones?
Selling the secret to the sun
Welcome to the Universe

Cross the line
Redefine
Lose your mind
Come crawl inside

Hey, hey
What've you got?
Doesn't matter to me 'cause I don't want them
I'm not the only one

The unified divide
Among and then deny
Now could you kindly cut to the chase?
It's like a Deadsy song
Pretty but something's always wrong
Show me a secret Mason sign

Cross the line
Redefine
Lose your mind
Come crawl inside

Hey, hey
What've you got?
Doesn't matter to me 'cause I don't want them
I'm not the only one

Hey, hey
What've you got?
Doesn't matter to me 'cause I don't want them
I'm not the only one

See
It's in your eyes
Come break me down
Come break me

Hey, hey
What've you got?
Doesn't matter to me 'cause I don't want them
I'm not the only one

Hey, hey
What've you got?
Doesn't matter to me 'cause I don't want them
I'm not the only one

Hey
What've you got?

haha, i don't think its 'like a deadsy song' but actually 'like some other song' or something liek that - funny tho, coz dr nner does some synth on the cd, and i've always thought 30 stm soudns kinda liek an actually good and interesting and more advanced deadsy - so wrong lyric perhaps, but right idea

It's got a cool sound, but all the songs from this band tend to sound alike to me.

I don't think it's "Show me a secret Mason sign"... to me, at least (!), it sounds like "Show me the ancient sign".

But then again, what do I know... lol. Anyway, only relevant comment I can make now was the [possible] lyric correction ^^^, and that... I love this song. =)

93 Million Miles is a very large distance, extra-terrestrial indeed.

Mars was, in 2003, 34.65 million miles from Earth. In 1995 is was 62.8 million miles. I don't see any corrolation there. Mars is 155 million miles from the sun

It was originally Deadsy because Deadsy was originally involved in the project.

Oh yeah. First 30STM song I ever heard, hooked me in. I'd thought it'd be something passable, some side-project of Jared's, but just listening to the intro of this, I knew it was going to be good.

The sun is usually about 93 Million Miles away from us.

the deadsy reference was actually a result of a small fued between 30 seconds to mars and deadsy. or they were changed to "it's like some other song" (which, frankly, makes no sense) because of that fued. the former is more likely. ;)

Infinitie's comment about Mars being 155 million miles from the Sun is true but maybe Jared is talking about the Earth in this song becuase Earth is 93 million miles from the Sun?

i absolutely love this song.
i believe that its talking about how pathetic the human race has become.. and how unfair and sad life is. its about the harsh realities that nobody wants to face.
my favorite line is
'Where are the holy ones?
Selling the secret to the sun'

i couldnt say it any better.

my fav line is "Where are the holy ones?
Selling the secret to the sun'"

Oh, and 93 million miles is the distance between the earth and the sun btw, also known as an astronomical unit =]

this song to me is about how humans are so selfish and how they will do anything for themselves.

Where does your garden grow?
Tell me the secrets that you know
Another time, another place
Where are the holy ones?
Selling the secret to the sun
Welcome to the Universe

this verse makes me think about how a person will do what it takes to get ahead of someone else in life.
even the line, "where are the holy ones? Selling the secret to the sun" seems to be saying that even these people that profess to be huge religious people will even tell your secret if it saves face or gets them ahead in life. Then the "Welcome to the Universe" line seems to be said in a sarcastic tone.

how people crosses the lines and want things that others have
Hey, hey
What've you got?
Doesn't matter to me 'cause I don't want them
I'm not the only one
the selfishness, the self centered side of people is criticized, well at least thats what i can tell
