The laws of Germany are obvious; be nice to mommy is too; don't talk to commies (East Berlin residents); the kosher salami I'm not sure, but could just be a dig. Dee Dee loved Germany, as is evident in many songs, including "Blitzkreig Bop," which he renamed after it was originally called "Animal Hop. I think it's an indictment of Dee Dee's father, who was an alcoholic and possibly home life caused many of Dee Dee's later problems.

But regardless, it is "be nice to mommy/don't talk to commies".

I think the "Commando" title refers to Mr. Colvin. The other locations mentioned in the song may be places he was formerly stationed.

I think this song and that one, along with "53rd and 3rd," "Chinese Rock," and any of the songs about bad relationships tell much of his story.
