Take her home
Take her past this evening
I'm not sure
Sure if I believe you
You carry a gun for fun
You use it twice as easy
I'm sure she is
She is someone's daughter
I couldn't even feel that it was
Wrapped around my head
I don't know what she's done
I don't even want to think about it
She was beautiful
The prettiest girl I've ever seen
I saw everything
Things I hoped I'd never see
She got away from him
And got on a plane this morning
I couldn't even feel like it was
Wrapped around my head
I'm coming down
Coming down the next day
Take her past this evening
I'm not sure
Sure if I believe you
You carry a gun for fun
You use it twice as easy
I'm sure she is
She is someone's daughter
I couldn't even feel that it was
Wrapped around my head
I don't know what she's done
I don't even want to think about it
She was beautiful
The prettiest girl I've ever seen
I saw everything
Things I hoped I'd never see
She got away from him
And got on a plane this morning
I couldn't even feel like it was
Wrapped around my head
I'm coming down
Coming down the next day

i also love it how each line supports the next...
Like:
she was beautiful
the prettiest girl i've ever seen
anyway thats just what i think
it seems like he's saying
'I'm at the airport. She's fucking split! I'm on the next plane'
i wonder what that means....
you use it twice as easy i'm sure she is she is someone's daughter) viewed from someone on the outside (i saw everything things i hoped i'd never see) and the girl tries to get away. at the end you can hear a guy saying "i'm at the airport, fucking split. i'm on the next plane" or something like that. that's my take on it.
But anyway, i think its about confusion in love, like i said. 'i'm sure she is, she is someones daughter.' you could take that literally or you could take it as him saying that that's the only thing he is sure about because obviously, she has to be someones daughter. it's a funny perculiar song cos i get confused myself. who's he talking about? he refers to lots of different people.
