Oooo, oooooo,ooooo,ooooooo
oooo,oooo
Ooooo,oooo,oooo
Oooooo,ooooo,ooooo,ooo,
oooo,oooo,ooo

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
And the dreams that you dream of
Once in a lullaby

Oh, somewhere over the rainbow
Blue birds fly
And the dreams that you dream of
Dreams really do come true

Someday I'll wish upon a star
Wake up where the clouds are far behind....me
Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me

Oh, Somewhere over the rainbow
Blue birds fly
And the dream that you dare to
Why oh why can't I

Well I see trees of green
And red roses too
I watch them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

Well I see skies of blue
And I see clouds of white
And the brightness of day
I like the dark
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

The colors of the rainbow
So pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people passing by
See friends shakin hands saying
'How do you do?'
They're really sayin,'I, I love you."

I hear babies cryin
And are lost in hope
They'll know much more than we'll ever know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

Oh, someday I'll wish upon a star
Wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me

Oh, somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
And the dreams that you dare to
Why oh why can't I...I

Ooooo,oooo,ooooo,ooooo,oooo,oooo......

Memory:This song means the world to me. I remember the first time I heard it like it was yesterday. I was in a cute little coffee shop with my mother when I was just a little tyke. I was having a typical infantile bad day – temper tantrums and such – and I had just about had it by the time my mother and I arrived at the coffee shop. When we walked in together, it was quiet and I could hear this song softly playing in the back by the tables. After listening for a while, the last thing I remember was hearing this song and then being picked up by my mother and quickly falling asleep, and the next thing I know I am awoken in the car on the way home. I asked my mother to look the song up let me find it on the internet & I fell in love with it. This song helped me to notice my passion for music. I sing every day at least once. <3

My Opinion:I love music. I listen to it and it basically amplifies my mood. This song i like to listen to wen im jus chill outside enjoying the day but then i play this song wen depressed. I know that seems preetty bizarre but that's just how i feel about the song. When i listen to it while im happy nd chill, Iz like paints ahh picture in my head of how nice things are in the world nd makes me wana be ahh better person(corny i knoo xp) but then wen i listen to this while depressed, i tend to resemble a weeping widow at a funeral. When depressed i imagine a place that is described as Iz's "Utopia" nd i think like damn. i wana live ther too lol but wen depressd the lyrics do sound like he's describing "heaven".

General Comment:They played this at my dad's funeral, it was his favorite song.
I think it is about reflecting on life and how somewhere over the rainbow, it was beautiful, a.k.a, after death.

I cry when I hear this song.

Funny story: My father and I, last year, were at Disney World staying at Polynesian, which is a Hawaiian-themed resort. We were in a restaurant, Ohana, and they had a Hawaiian man wandering about the restaurant, playing a ukulele, singing Hawaiian songs. He didn't take requests or anything, but of course, my generous father went over, handed him a twenty, and asked him to play this song. And he did. He announced, "A man just requested one my favorite songs, thank you by the way, and I am happy to play for you. This one's for Israel." And he played it. It was beautiful.
    My dad. =)
