Something in the way she moves
Attracts me like no other lover
Something in the way she woos me
I don't want to leave her now
You know I believe and how

Somewhere in her smile she knows
That I don't need no other lover
Something in her style that shows me
I don't want to leave her now
You know I believe and how

You're asking me will my love grow
I don't know, I don't know
You stick around and it may show
I don't know, I don't know

Something in the way she knows
And all I have to do is think of her
Something in the things she shows me
I don't want to leave her now
You know I believe and how

General Comment:I agree with the previous comment. Perfect song for a young woman after a day at the beach followed by love songs and love blogs. Absolutely great choice! Go for it...

My Interpretation:I believe this song was a message for his friend E.Clapton:

"I don't want to leave her now,
You know I believe and how."
    and also:
"Something in her style that shows me.
I don't want to leave her now,
You know I believe and how."

Until this part, GH was speaking about her,
but now he turns to Clapton
as he changes "She/her"(Pattie)for "You" (E.Clapton):

You're asking me: Will my love grow ?
    I don't know, I don't know.
You stick around, now: it may show!
...I don't know, I don't know. (this three really emphasized
and I would say angry or at least annoyed! Just hear him again.
It seems to me He`s telling him: "I cannot agree on your taking her with you"
(in fact some time later Clapton came to GH saying he wanted to take Pattie
with him and GH said some kind of: "You want her; OK, just take her with you")
But at that time he still wanted to keep her and wrote his final message to
    his friend E. Clapton:

"Something in the things she shows me.
I don't want to leave her now,
You know I believe and how."

    General Comment:My interpretation:
    Boy meets girl
She is the most beautiful (inside and out) he's ever come across
So boy is going to be honest with the girl.
Boy can't promise forever, b/c he can't predict the future
But boy would love to promise forever, b/c girl knows everything
Boy is thinking and compliments him perfectly.
Girl does for and teaches boy things he's always dreamed of
Boy cannot pin one thing and physical beauty has little to do
with his awe of said girl.

I about fell off my desk chair when someone sent me this song this past November.

General Comment:Something is clearly about a man looking upon his recently quickening lover, the something that he sees in this woman is a beauty more powerful than her physical attraction as she carries the lover of her lover, which is the child that is slowly blossoming and growing. A man's love never looks more beautiful than when he is watching his lover who is carrying his child. Of course the man can not place it and can only interpret this beatuy and love they are viewing as something. The greatest joy a couple can experience is of course a child. Anyhow the lines, "youre asking me will my love grow" well obviously the child is growing in the wombs confines, "you stick around and it might show," well, the stick is obviously phallic and the "stick around" also means, if you wait nine monrths, the baby might show, and "show" is obviously a reference to the saying a woman is showing when she gets the pregger bump, anyways, this is the meaning that works for me, everyone is entitled to their own, it makes the song that much more beautiful, so try it sometime and think about it this way. Give Peace a Chance.

General Comment:The bass in this song is unbelievable I love it, but I still stand by my comment that Pauls song "And I love her" Is the best love song, but Something definetely comes second.

General Comment:FAV beatle song... and fav george song. He has the ability to 'move' his listeners with even a single word. so deep and so true, 'something' has to be the best love song ever written.
