Lyrics for Something as interpreted by Ice

Something Lyrics
Something in the way she moves
Attracts me like no other lover,
Something in the way she woos me.
I don't want to leave her now,
You know I believe and how.
Somewhere in her smile she knows
That I don't need no other lover.
Something in her style that shows me.
I don't want to leave her now,
You know I believe and how.

You're asking me will my love grows,
I don't know, I don't know.
You stick around now it may show,
I don't know, I don't know.

Something in the way she knows
And all I have to do is think of her,
Something in the things she shows me.
I don't want to leave her now,
You know I believe and how.

According to Frank Sinatra, this is the best love song ever written. I tend to like George's love songs better than the Lennon/McCartney love songs just because they're much deeper, sweeter, and more sincere. The video had Ringo & Maureen, Paul & Linda, John & Yoko, and (of course) George & Patti. Although, George and Patti latter divorced, this song is still one of the most sincere and sweet love songs I've ever heard.

yeah, i think george songs are a lot deeper than lennon/mccartney ones. the music and the lyrics are incredible and the way they go together makes the song even better.

Even though Sinatra said it was the best love song, he never gave George the credit. He always refered to it as a Lennon/McCartney song. George had a good reason to write this song too....Pattie was hot!!

I really can't say anything more except that George Harrison (in my humble opinion) was by far the best Beatle. If it wasn't for him, they never would've experimented with drugs and they never would've left their bubble gum pop era. Not that there's anything wrong with their earlier work... It's just their later songs had SO much more meaning. That's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

This song is one of the greatest songs written, for obvious reasons, and was covered by over 100 artists!
Don't think you'll find many other songs that have been recorded that many times! This has got to be George's finest song as a beatle!

George wasn't the one that got The Beatles into drugs, but nevertheless this is an amazing love song.

george was the quiet one while the beatles were the trendy mop top pop group. why? because he didn't fit in or like it. he was the one that first wrote the beatles songs that meant something. before them they were all about love and just the music, after they became songs that had meaning. they all were great songwriters and i dont' think any one of them is better than the other... they rank all tied for 2nd behind bob dylan.

Duuuuuuuuude, Bob Dylan is the most over-rated songwriter ever! Yes, he is good: I will allow you your moment. And it is irrelevant as to whether he can sing or play (which, after 40 years, he can't). He is a good songwriter. And I stress good. He is by no means ahead of the Beatles, nor is he ahead of Leonard Cohen, Paul Simon, Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, Lou Reed, Jerry Cantrell, Jeff Buckely, and anyone else you can name, You have the same syndrome Nirvana fans have when they say Kurt Cobain was a genius. The guy wrote good songs, but is not the genius everyone makes him out to be. He was surrounded by far superior contemporaries, so get over it! DYLAN WAS (AND IS) AVERAGE IN COMPARISON TO THE ARTISTS YOU THINK HE IS SUPERIOR TO! You have ears, don't just hear, LISTEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Everything about this song is so perfect and humbling. I also love "Just Ask" by gearge harrison (it was never released), however it hardly compares to this intoxicating masterpiece.

I can relate. That's one reason I really love this.

Has anyone heard the new relased version of this in 5.1 surround and without the strings and stuff? It's pretty neat, it's really just George on vocals and guitar, and Ringo on drums. I don't think anyone else is audible in that mix.

This is definitely one of the greatest songs ever by the Beatles, and George is and was always my favorite Beatle. Dont know why, just something about him struck me in a way the other three didn't. Anyways, amazing song, lyrics are so true and sincere, plus its got one of the most wonderful guitar solos ever written. Not too hard to play, but god damn, its well written.

I know that this is mostly about lyrics, but I'd say that the chord structure in this song is the work of an absolute genius.
Yet another perfect song.

geroge kills the shit out of those other two fugs. geroge was a pushover. both john and paul had said in interviews that geroge was a better guitar player than the both of them. something is a perfect example of just how incredibly awesome george was. and his solo stuff is way way way way better. this song was inspired by a james brown song called 'something in the way she moves'. george was a big fan of re-writing songs. my sweet lord, for example, is a re-write of a gospel song.

I donīt really know if itīs true, but iīve heard that the solo was written by Eric Clapton (which by the way he married patty and George and Eric stayed friends). Is this true??????

Anyway i canīt find words to discribe georgeīs work, itīs more than perfect, the way the chords, lyrics, and guitar sounds combien canīt really be true, itīs awsome, itīs the perfect song of all times.

It seems to me that Patti Boyd must have been a very special woman. Not only was this song written about her, but so was "Layla" - two of the greatest songs of all time.
