This is my favorite song off of "Signs of a Vacant Soul". I think it is maybe about someone who feels hopeless, and maybe not appreciated. I love this song. This is one of those bands that not alot of people know about, but are awesome. :)

this is a wonderful song...i think its about achieving ur goals.....like theres a man....who has a goal that he thinks he must achieve but most ppl dunt believe in him....ppl might critisize him for his desires but he pleas that they shudn't be that way.....this song says that we shudn't lose our passion no matter what happens......juss keep ur self heading up the hill!..and one day u will be on the top!!!!!

I've always taken this song to be about someone with a physical disease like cancer or AIDS and requires help... "tiny heroes fighting big battles" being white blood cells. Withered body, cold body, clean me, hunger pains. This person isn't in a good way...

To clarify:

The line is actually "Tiny heroes FALL in big battles" My friend wrote the song for Virgos Merlot...

Tiny heroes does not refer to white blood cells, cancer or AIDS. He says, "It means kind of along the lines of God doesn't give us more than what we can handle, BUT not everyone's shoulders are able to bare the weight." The song symbolizes "just how painful and mentally draining life can be when you're battling your own 'personal demons'."
