    General Comment:I think he's saying that he can tell that his girlfriend is getting bored with him, and he thinks that she wants to break up, but he can't tell. He just wants her to say whether or not she wants to break up, he can't stand waiting and wondering. He would do whatever she wants, because he loves her, but he's sick of the game she's playing by pushing him away and pulling him in. He needs her to decide.

    Memory:I can definitely relate to this song. I have this friend, beth who always kept me guessing about where our relationship was headed. Often, she'd make plans with me and end up braking them..it was hard to tell if it was deliberate or not. These lyrics really hit home. She always kept me waiting & guessing..she still does..

    General Comment:This is my absolute favourite song by Conor ever.

    I think it's about a relationship where he is depressed and she gets tired of his ups-and-downs. She used to be the one who rescued him from his downs but now, he's not sure of where she stands.
    Now he's down again, and tries to reach her but she's not there as she used to be.

    They both made some kind of mistakes in the relationship, which they chose not to talk about for the simplicity. He feels that it all had been to complicated lately, and wants it all to be easy again.

    He asked her to be honest with him cause he can't stand not knowing anything.

    Then, she's sort of playing with him when she's insecure. She wants him but not the complicated relationship they had.

    So he tells her he doesn't care about "the things we cannot speak" so he's ready to just love her if she loves him back which he's asking her about again in the end.

    I love this song so much it hurts sometimes.

    General Comment:This song sums of everything so perfectly for me.
    One person is still in love, but the other person of the past relationship is unsure, can't make up his or her mind if they want to start something new.
    The one person who is still in love and still want's a relationship simply needs to know if the other still feels it, if they still want it to happen, or if the "plans have changed"
    I agree that this song is not indictive of most of what Conor has done, but that doesn't take away from the fact that this song is beautiful, well written and genuine.

    General Comment:also fwiw i think this song is about him being in love with a girl who's with someone else. In my head he's fallen in love with his best friend ("You're bored of cheering me up...you were the one") and they made the mistake of getting intimate and he's willing to do whatever she wants to keep her happy ("So you made me come, Then you sent me away" and "You said you don't want me to beg...Satisfying your needs"). and the things they can't speak about are that she cheats with him. and he has constant hope that they'll be together eventually because she lets him come back over and over again so he can never find love even though he looks.

    i just found this ep after a year or so while i was unpacking. so happy. so so happy.
