I was traveling 16 years ago in New Zealand & bought the Jeremy CD single, Yellow Leadbetter was one of the tracks on the CD. I can still remember it now.. I sat on the hostel step, with my earphones in...
I couldn't work out what he was saying but that didn't matter so much I was just blown away by the way this guy delivered... every word coming straight from his guts!!
Sorry to blab on!! but Pearl Jam & in particular Eddie's lyrics & vocals but they have helped me through some pretty tough times.... can't be havin 'it's too silly' :)

Sorry that I miss read Sirocco’s comment, there was no offense intended & I hope none was taken, I just thought I’d share what the band & in particular the lyrics & vocals mean to me.
I feel sorry for you that you felt this was your queue to get all excited & clever. I could eleberate on the tough times I mentioned but feel this would over exaggerate my point.
