General Comment:"my friend hates bright eyes, and says that they cannot play their instruments...what a dumbass..listen to this song."

    you're a moron.
this song only supports his theory.

Anyways, I think it's "you never see him but the weeding gets done."
I doubt it's the faith one, because I looked it up on wikipedia, and it said no sch thing.

none the less, a wonderful song.

General Comment:'The Invisible Gardener' may be a reference to a philosophical debate about the existence of God. Basically, some people are walking in the woods and come upon a grove. One man insists there must be a gardener to plant the grove, another says there is none. They set up all sorts of traps to catch the gardener, but none appears. Still, the 'believer' keeps qualifying his belief to make the evidence fit. The story is used as an argument for how some people who believe in God will keep believing no matter how much evidence is apparently to the contrary.

So, yeah...It's a really nice song, I like it.

    General Comment:I have to add:
    "Invisible Gardener"
Invisible because there are no lyrics,
And the song is a Gardener because it is planting the seeds for the album as the first song and one of the earliest sounds from Bright Eyes in "A Collection of Songs..."
