Lyrics for Aero Zeppelin as interpreted by epsilon

Aero Zeppelin Lyrics
What's the season of love if you can't have everything
what's the reason of love if you can lose everything
What's the meaning in a crime? It's a crime if anything.
What's the meaning of love?It's a grand, it's a grand.

How can a culture can forget it's plan of yesterday
and you swear it's not a trend, doesn't matter anyways
there's no need to talk to friends, nothing new is everyday.
you could shit upon the stairs, you'll be friends

All the kids will eat it up, if it's packaged properly.
Should it subtlely irritate, keep it movin' equally.
All I know is just the fact, where the world is nowadays
An idea is what we lack, doesn't matter anyway

All the kids will eat it up, if it's packaged properly
Still the son will imitate, keep it fallin' equally
All i know is just the facts, where the world is nowadays
An idea is what we lack, doesn't matter anyway

How come incesticide is so overlooked? I listen to this one the most out of all of Nirvana's cds'. It has some really great songs on it, including this one. Check out incesticide if you have'nt!!

This to me appears to be about fads or "trends." Kurt seems to be saying that throughout the 20th and 21st centry people have mindlessly been following trends. He could also be talking about how repetitive history seems and how it's dehumanizing society. Either way, it's still a good song. I'm not sure if my interpretation is correct, but at least it's an attempt, considering that nobody else seems to want to say anything about it.

YES! Incesticide is a great album. Hairspray Queen is a really cool song too. Im pretty sure the title of this song comes from 2 of Kurts adolescent favourite bands...Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin???

(The Right Interpretation). Kurt actually wrote this song as some sort of a tribute. Hence the name. He thought the it had a classic rock feel to it. When he was in his mid teens he was into bands like Led Zeppling, Chicago, and Aerosmith. He took the name from Aerosmith and Led Zepplin. The song has no meaning, it just has a classic rock feeling to it, hence the name.

The start to this song rocks hard. I feel inclined to go and smoke a bowl. Nirvana goes off.

Well Nirvana was pretty anti cock rock and all that macho shit floating around. Kurt may have liked those bands when he grew up but I doubt he was a fan in his later years. I see this song more as a criticism than a tribute. Of all the bands I remember Kurt having mentioned as an influence I don't ever recall either of Led Zeppelin or Aerosmith mentioned. All I can recall is The Pixies, Vasolines, Black Flag, Black Sabbath....

well personally i have no idea what this song is about and i like it that way. because then, without outside bias, you are free to interpret the song anyway you like when you listen and that could change every day.
ok that made no sense what so ever but anyway totally awesome song.
sadly overlooked by most

i agree with jabbatron, awesome drums but unfortunately dave grohl did not play them, this is their pre-nevermind, pre-grohl era and chad channing still played drums on this track, check out bleach and incesticide if you haven't already, some of their hardest rocking shit is on those albums

THe song title is more a parody than a tribute. The song *is* somewhat about trends, but more about how people who are young have power, but don't use it, becaues they get caught up in useless trends.

agree with Grunger83 at least for the second part of the song, it absolutely shows a hint and scream to the consumption generation we have "nowadays", for the first part well just read it ;)

Some of these lyrics are wrong. here are the lyrics strait from Kurt Cobain: Journals, which is one of the best books ever.

whats a season in a right
if you can't have anything
whats the reason in a rhyme
if a plan means anything
whats the meaning in a crime
it's a fan if anything
wheres a leaning in a line
it's a brand it's a brand

how a culture comes again
it was all here yesterday
and you swear it's not a trend
doesn't matter anyways
they're only here to talk to friends
nothing new is everyday
you could shit upon the stage they'll be fans

all the kids will eat it up
if its packaged properly
steal a sound and imitate
keep a format equally
not an ode
just the facts
where our world is nowadays
an idea is what we lack
it doesn't matter anyways

Just wanted to clear that up. I think this song is about bands that make songs by imitating other bands and making music that will sell records and it's also about music fans that like meaningless, prepackaged music.

This is one of Nirvana's best songs in my opinion. Does anybody else find this song incredibly ironic? Arguably Nirvana have had the greatest influence on the Alternatice music scene of the last 20 years, and there are so many bands out there that try to emulate them without adding anything, thinking they can get by on angst. I think Kurt became pretty ****ed up, but because of this his angst was uniquely raw and real and whether he ment half of it or not, he had a beautifully creative mind.

Anyway I think this song is about the transparancy of today's society, how everything is geared towards personal gain and conforming, when we should be striving to be indivualistic and perhaps more compassionate.

Kurt pretty much left most of his songs up to interpretation, so they ment something different to other people, so really no one's opinion could be wrong, except the dumbass comments.... but I do agree with scholesy
