    General Comment:This has always been one of my favorite underoath songs...it surprises me that people aren't familiar with it. underoath is my favorite band...since i was 12, and going strong. (i'm 18 now) I have never heard anything quite like Underoath before and I just think they're truly a blessed band and very talented. I do miss Aaron and I must admit that I am not the biggest fan of the latest stuff but underoath has gone through multiple changes through their whole career..i'm just happy they stay true to themselves. People's walk with God is never perfect and it isn't just about praise and worship to God either...it's about struggling and losing hope, losing faith...it's a relationship..a real-life relationship...Underoath's music depicts those different types of relationships and they're just very real and honest as a band lyrically and I really do appreciate them a lot.

    General Comment:No one has mentioned this so far but Dallas had a fiansee that died in a car crash. He was driving the car and was fine but his wife died right in front of him. I think this song is talking about her. It sounds like his life sucked and he was depressed but when she came into his life she made everything better. She stood next to him through thick and thin and felt his deepest wounds. It sounds like this was something no one had bothered to do for him and for that he thanks her. Even though she may be gone she gave him something that cannot die, love. It changed his heart for the better and I'm not sure what Dallas is up to nowadays but his life is definetely better because of the impact she had on him.

    General Comment:When he says: "you were love to me rather than just a word, a friend was all you were" maybe he means that he fell in love with his best friend, but she only loved him as her friend... :)

    General Comment:This song talks about God and/or a special friend that stands by you all the time. They're there for you when you most need them.

    And it makes sense because sometimes God betrays you. Well, It's more like something goes wrong and you blame God for 'not being there'.
    This song is one of my favorites. I adore the beginning. (:
