And I wanna believe you
When you tell me that it'll be okay
Yeah, I try to believe you
But I don't
When you say that it's gonna be
It always turns out to be a different way
I try to believe you
Not today, today, today, today, today

(I, yeah, yeah)
I don't know how I'll feel (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Tomorrow (tomorrow), tomorrow (tomorrow)
And I (yeah, yeah, yeah)
I don't know what to say (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Tomorrow (tomorrow)
Tomorrow is a different day

(Tomorrow)
It's always been up to you
It's turning around, it's up to me
I'm gonna do what I have to do
Just don't
Give me a little time
Leave me alone a little while
Maybe it's not too late
Not today, today, today, today, today, oh

(I, yeah, yeah)
I don't know how I'll feel (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Tomorrow (tomorrow), tomorrow (tomorrow)
And I (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Don't know what to say (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Tomorrow (tomorrow)
Tomorrow is a different day

Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah, yeah
And I know I'm not ready
Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah, yeah
Maybe tomorrow
Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
I'm not ready
Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah, yeah
Maybe tomorrow

And I wanna believe you
When you tell me that it'll be okay
Yeah, I try to believe you
Not today, today, today, today, today

Tomorrow, it may change
Tomorrow, it may change
Tomorrow, it may change
Tomorrow, it may change

I usually listen to this song on repeat when I've had an exceptionally bad day. Because to me this song is about when you're upset, and someone tries to tell you that everything is going to be alright. You want to believe them so badly, but you can't because they really don't understand. You want everyone to just leave you alone until you're okay. But then you realize "Hey, there's always tomorrow", and you move on, and the next day IS better than the day before.

Always get a little teary listening to this song, but it really helps me cope when I'm not in the best place mentally.

I dont usually listen to this type of music.. but the way i analyze the song I can relate to it soooo much. I think it's about her and her boyfriend and how he wants to move on to a more "intimate" relationship and she's not ready to. "and I know, im not ready".. but she keeps telling him that maybe tomorrow i'll be read "tomorrow it may change". I think any girl who has been in that akward, saddening, yet intriguing situation can relate to this song.. i like it a lot :)

This song referrs a lot to my life, and it's my favorite song on her album. So here's what it means to me: Everyone is always telling me it's gonna be ok, but it never is so I stopped believeing them now, and they say how it will end up but it ends up differently. And now I don't know how I feel or when my feelings will change, and I just need to be left alone.

This song is talking about how...some days are just hopeless, but that doesn't mean there is no hope. Tomorrow is another day, another chance. Good message..

sorry, in the first verse I meant to put "When you tell me that it'll be okay" but I forgot the "tell me" part :)

Oops...forget the last comment. I accidentally did that. Anyway... Punk junkie girl, if you don't like the song, then why look for the lyrics, especially when all you're gonna do is diss the song. I think it's pitiful that you actually spend time looking for the song to make fun of it. Honestly, your life must be really boring if you have time to do that. You're only make a fool of yourself. Stupid!

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
