HOW THE HELL DO YOU EMOTICONS?????? ANYWAYS, I LIKE THIS SONG, BUT NOT AS MUCH AS THE OTHER SONGS. STILL THIS SONG IS PRETTY COOL AND I LIKE THE LOUD BEAT TO IT. LINKIN PARK IS THE FIRST ARTISTS THAT HAVE A CD OUT THAT HAS NO CUSS WORDS AND IT STILL KICKS ASS AND THAT I CAN LISTEN TO ALL DAY WITHOUT GETTING BORED OF ANY OF THE SONGS!!!!! I LOVE LINKIN PARK

To me this song is saying that sumtimes everything is just so screwed up. Life can be so confusing and unbearable and you just dont know what to do. At times you think you see a light at the end of ur tunnel but when u get there, its just a "spot of light" and then u open ur eyes and ur enfolded in darkness again. Its like sumtimes the solution to all ur problems can be so close, yet so far. And then eventually any hope can fade. And soon, even the memory of that hope fades. "The memory now is like the picture was then. When the paper's crumpled up it can't be perfect again." Hope is something that is extremely hard to find. And once u have it...if u let it go it's even harder to get back.

"When the paper's crumpled up it can't be perfect again." That's the best line in this song. For some reason, it hits me hard.

On another note, xfesty, why do you use the word fag? What if I started calling stuff I didn't like "straight", or "hetero"? I'm not a lesbian, but they're people too. Show some respect.

Look around all you linkin park fools!! how can you celebrate these lyrics??? They are so superfical, it makes me gag. Show me the meaning behind this song? There is about one line of philosificalness (lol SP), and it isn't even deep. 'The paper can't be perfect again'. Lets look at the chorus. From the top to the bottom? Bottom to top? WTF? Seriously. You guys have helped me to relize that Linkin Park fans are complete idiots. How did i come to this conclusion? In a few short words i shall explain...

Hey Killerbird...I'm a Linkin Park fan. I don't think I'm stupid. I don't use emoticons. I say things a little better than "this song rox the house yo" (no offense to the 5billion people who do waste time saying things like that). I think you should stop making generalizations. The reason it's taken me so long to reply is because I actually don't spend all my time going through lyrics websites to make fun of all the fans. Personally, I think you should make your anti-Linkin Park comments outside of Linkin Park sites. It is people like you who are turning these websites from fun places where people can go to talk about music they like into places where you go to talk about something you like and leave feeling hurt that someone who has never even seen you decides that you're stupid. This has been a little long, and actually shouldn't all be directed at Killerbird...this is a message to everybody: if you don't hae anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. For shame.
