Lyrics for Stop Crying Your Heart Out as interpreted by scottishboy

Stop Crying Your Heart Out Lyrics
Hold up
Hold on
Don't be scared
You'll never change what's been and gone

May your smile (may your smile)
Shine on (shine on)
Don't be scared (don't be scared)
Your destiny may keep you warm

'Cause all of the stars
Are fading away
Just try not to worry
You'll see them some day
Take what you need
And be on your way
And stop crying your heart out

Get up (get up)
Come on (come on)
Why're you scared? (i'm not scared)
You'll never change what's been and gone

'Cause all of the stars
Are fading away
Just try not to worry
You'll see them some day
Take what you need
And be on your way
And stop crying your heart out

'Cause all of the stars
Are fading away
Just try not to worry
You'll see them some day
Take what you need
And be on your way
And stop crying your heart out

We're all of us stars
We're fading away
Just try not to worry
You'll see us some day
Just take what you need
And be on your way
And stop crying your heart out
Stop crying your heart out
Stop crying your heart out

Well I havent heard the new album that much.I´ve only heard it about 5 times I think. But seriously u cant compared the old oasis with this. Definitely Maybe till The Masterplan is the golden era of oasis. Cant compared this song to dont look back in anger , but this song could be a great come back though. Oasis live forever !!!

This song is great! I got the opportunity to see them play live in Atlanta and let me tell you I got chill bumps all over me when they played this song. It is their greatest but it is one of their best.

This is one of my favs...EVER! The lyrics are great. Most of their new stuff sounds different, but this wouldn't be out of place on WTSMG?.....just a really good song.

Stop Crying Your Heart Out- "Well the day that we started recording the album here, we was.. we were all upstairs and I'll get to the title don't worry.. We were all upstairs and Stan was down there setting up a drum sound or something and we were watching something on telly, I can't remember what it was, and I'd just written the melody and the tune about 2 or 3 nights before and, as it is when you get into the studio, we always like.. it's like and everyone was like shall we start on the first one and I said yeah let's fucking listen to this one. But I didn't have any words and I just sat down and I just hummed it and there was silence after I'd finished and everyone was like, you just written that? I said I wrote it last night. So we done a quick demo, made up some lyrics on the spot and then, you know, it's a conversation between a parent and a child or should I say between a child and a parent is what it is. And I didn't want it to be the second single because I think that we always fall into the trap of, well, let's get a big ballad out, you know fucking shift some units. I wanted Force Of Nature to be the second single but I got sat down and talked around by the management. He said, look you know, what are you pissing about for? Put out your fucking best songs first. So I said oh alright as long as Force of Nature was gonna be as single. That was one of the most interesting songs. As soon as people heard it they just looked and each other and were you know. I think hopefully anyway, it will be. Hopefully that will bring the album into millions of people's front rooms as opposed to, you know. The last album was sold purely on a fan base level. I mean there wasn't really many what you call big hit singles like Go Let It Out was a hit all over the world really but that was about it. Hopefully this will do the same as Wonderwall did to the last one you know. People will hear that but the album and then subsequently go and tell their friends about it, a cross over track as they call it."

Noel, although i love the man, speaks shit in many respects. in an interview with Australian radio station, Triple J, Noel said that he 'wrote this song for a friend, and he jsut fucking disappeared off the face of the earth, just like that. I don't even know if he's heard the fuckign thing'. Anyway, it's irrelevant i guess. Awesome tune, and can't wait 'til the next album!

I really love this song, it's one of my favorite songs...

This song is also used for the last scene of the beautiful movie "the butterfly effect"

I don't know if anyone of you have seen the movie yet so I won't tell that much about it, because otherwise you already know everything and have no reason to watch it anymore

It's about a boy (played by Ashton Kutcher) who discovers that he can go back in time and change the past by reading his journals. He tries to prevent his first big love to kill herself.

But every attempt ends bad, he can't find a way to save her because every change in the past changes things in the future.

I won't tell how it ends, but it's a beautiful movie, I adore the movie just as much as this song, and that's really a lot.

When i first heard this song, my grandpa died that morning, and while my family was out together, i had to stay home coz i had a huge assignment due the next day and couldnt get out of it, this song got me out of shock and really helped me cry, just to let it all out
'may your smile shine on' is such a beautiful line, it pushed me to be accepting.
'you'll never change whats been and gone' it helped me accept death aswell, something i had never really experienced either.

Wingless Dreamer, I totally agree, after seeing 'The Butterfly Effect' and the last scene with this song, it took a completely different meaning to me than it had before and became IMO a much better song.

there could not have been a better song for the last scene of the butterfly effect, it's one of my favorite movies, and the end scene had alot to do with that and they couldnt have had a more perfect ending

The movie meant so much to be. Im seen as some 'dumb blonde' but inside im actually one of the deepest thinkers. That movie had such an effect on me. it was great...and to top it off, it had OASIS at the end. BRILLIANT. ..but id have to say my favourite Oasis songs would be :Don't Go Away,Acquiesce,Half The World Away,Stand By Me,The Masterplan and one of the best WHATEVER! As you can see i really liked there Bsides!

im so glad they aren't as popular as they used to be, that way they can truely be appreciated and not so mainstream. even if you think they aren't as popular and that is sad...they still are one of the greatest rock bands ever.
