Lyrics for Stop Crying Your Heart Out as interpreted by scottishboy

Stop Crying Your Heart Out Lyrics
Hold up
Hold on
Don't be scared
You'll never change what's been and gone

May your smile (may your smile)
Shine on (shine on)
Don't be scared (don't be scared)
Your destiny may keep you warm

'Cause all of the stars
Are fading away
Just try not to worry
You'll see them some day
Take what you need
And be on your way
And stop crying your heart out

Get up (get up)
Come on (come on)
Why're you scared? (i'm not scared)
You'll never change what's been and gone

'Cause all of the stars
Are fading away
Just try not to worry
You'll see them some day
Take what you need
And be on your way
And stop crying your heart out

'Cause all of the stars
Are fading away
Just try not to worry
You'll see them some day
Take what you need
And be on your way
And stop crying your heart out

We're all of us stars
We're fading away
Just try not to worry
You'll see us some day
Just take what you need
And be on your way
And stop crying your heart out
Stop crying your heart out
Stop crying your heart out

Wow this really reminds me of guy I know, he'll be going away soon and I'm probably never going to see him again, but he means so much to me. This bit means the most to me:
"'Cause all of the stars
Are fading away
Just try not to worry
You'll see them some day"
It's feels like he's fading away from me, but this makes me feel like if fate really does want us to be together then I will se him again one day. =)

I heard this song for the first time in years and it did not fail to touch me yet again... It's simple, yet so... wow.

The acoustic ending reduced me to tears for some reason.

When I first started living on my own for college I first heard this song and it helped me so much. The song not only helps me get through my difficulties in life but also helps me on a spiritual level. Not being scared of death, loved ones dying and knowing that I will be with the people I love again someday.

Has anyone noticed the similarities to Jet's 'Shine on"? Certainly there is the admonition "don't cry", and similar subject matter (sadness, life after death, memories of loved ones)... But also they both have that echoing-sounding chorus, and grandness about them.

This song comforts me as a stranger in a strange land - I'm a long way from loved ones. I will see them some day, and our loved ones shine for us in hearts and memories forever...

Yeahh

This song is really reassuring.

A friend commited suicide little over a month ago. Kind of helps :)

The whole "try not the worry you'll see them someday" is quite comforting cuz I can apply that to my friend. :)

Wow, possibly greatest oasis hit EVER. I know this site is for song meanings, and i absolutely hate it when people talk about how much they love the songs instead of giving the meaning, but I can't help but to express how amazing this song is. Just wow. I like the verses more the chorus. I love the sounding. So beautiful

the first time i heard this song i was seeing THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT.
so is the lyrics saying that love is in the letting go?

You'll never change what's been and gone

you did something wrong and mess it out.

'Cause all of the stars
Are fading away
Just try not to worry
You'll see them some day

you are on the point of despairing but you should be true to the belief that things will look up so "you'll see them someday".

Don't be scared (don't be scared)
Your destiny may keep you warm

what you need to do is simply let it go for a while and never give up trying.things are to be better for you.we are all of us stars.

of late i nearly ruined my relationship with a good friend with whom i fell in love.as things were worsening while i tried to make up for it,i decided to forget it all.i believe i'll see her someday.

Very bittersweet song, lets you know that though the past may have hurt a lot you can't be scared of life because you can never change what's come before. The past fades away and leaves you but you have to get out there and live!
Great song and great band, good to hear something so touching when so many people give in to hate and violence, this is definitely on par with Don't Look Back In Anger.
Now if they could just write something as rocking as Definitely Maybe!

Stop Crying your Heart Out-The song is an epic weepy anthem in spirit of slide away and dont look back in anger, reassuringly advising tht in times of hardship, simply gt over it and gt on wt ur life. NOel G. explained the song saying "A friend of mine was goin through a pretty bad time wt his kids and i sort of wrote it wt him in mind. Gallagher said i didnt want it as a single bec i tht wed done all tht before, but everyones going, YOure fuckin mad.

I love this song... it reminds me so much of my new friend.

He recommended a few songs to me, and I was shocked at how sad all of them were. He seems like such a peppy guy, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that he had reason to be sad. (I'm probably his only friend.)

He reccomended Oasis to me, and I downloaded all the songs I could. This one stood out the most to me of all the songs I downloaded. I feel like this is my message to him.

I hope he listens to this song, and takes heed. I'm so scared of him commiting suicide, even though he doesn't outwardly seem suicidal. In these last few weeks that I've really gotten to know him, it seems more and more like a likelihood.

So, this song is sort of a bittersweet thing for me.

i lost someone close to me a few months ago and whenever i hear it i always think of her. i just imagine she is singing the chorus to me, telling me to be ok because i'll see her again. this song is truly beautiful and one of oasis' best in my opinion
