yes there is freedom of expression...and there's also a thing called freedom of speech that means I can come on here and say whatever I want to, bliss, whether you like it or not...and I do have an opinion too, I'm just voicing it. and as I said I had 5 free mins, just like I do now, so I thought I would tell everyone how I feel about this band. and yes adema did rip off korn, I know it's his step bro, and that doesnt change the fact that they sound exactly like korn and the only reason they got a record deal was because he was related to jon davis and the lables thought they could make some money off of them because of that.

I don't care what anyone has to say about Linkin Park, they are good. This is by far the best song that I have heard from them when they have been Linkin Park or Hybrid Theory. It doesn't matter what kind of mood I'm in, this song can pick me up because of the music. The video is great, it doesn't matter whether it goes with the lyrics or not. The best part is when everything goes dark and rainy and Chester sings solo. Everything they have done with this song has been great. I can only hope every album after will be as great as the first.

Okay kids, I'm sorry, but I have to rant now.

I agree with Music4life and Pumpkin-86 waaaaaay up there. But...god, for all you Linkin Park fans who knew and loved them BEFORE they went mainstream, you have to admit it was nicer then. I got their CD three days after it came out, when they really weren't that popular, and just a few days ago I had one of my friends tell me, "Oh my GOD Lenore, you have to get Linkin Park's CD, In The End fucking rocks!!" and it just annoys me.
And also, what the hell is up with them being played on POP stations, with Backstreet boys and NSync and Britney Spears? How can they be compared to LP, who has absolutly beautiful lyrics full of raw emotion? And their lyrics are all about bubblegummy pop shit! GAH!

Metallican41 is right, Linkin Park suck ass. they are just as bad, and actually the same as all these nu-metal bands. I play the guitar, and I can play better than Brad Delson. He could not even play the intro to the Guns N' Roses song "Sweet Child O' Mine" when he tried. He makes Tom DeLonge look like a guitar god.
Linkin Park - cannot sing, cannot rap, can't play guitar, bass, drums, and their DJ is just the same as the million others. He can't do anything progressive, inlike people like DJ Radar. Their lyrics are totally cliched and shouting doesn't make it emotional, it makes it stupid.

This song means as much to me as Britney's "Hit Me Baby One More Time". It's just another meaningless radio hit.

All linkin park are is a group of posers who think the're rockers. The're all preps, so they have no idea what it's like to feel alone, helpless, or anything like that. The song has no real meaning to it, it was just made so they could get on the fuckin radio. Rap/rock is the worst thing to happen to music since boybands, though the're pretty much the same thing. It's sad that you peaople think linkin park is a rock band, all they are is pop shit.

I really dunno what the meaning of the song is. I'm guessing that this is about a relationship that went downhill and it seems like it was impossible to fix it. I'm probably wrong 'cause I really don't get this song, but I really like it! ;)

Who cares if u dont like em? Just don't listen to them! Simple enough. U dont have to go to the point of insulting them. I hate it so much when people go out of their way, just to diss something they kno nothin about. I happen to love this song. Its about life and how things almost never happen the way you want them to, no matter how hard you try or how much u want it.Its about how life is pointless... i tried so hard, and go so far, but in the end it doesnt even matter. Life slips away without you realizing it.. and "it starts with love". Love screws everything up.. it fucks everyone. Think about it.. how many times have people been hurt by "love"? This song is about the pain and nothingness in life.

well, to me, after certain experiences i believe that this song is about when one takes acid or something of the sort, they sometimes questioning life. and they really begin to wonder about the meaning and they find themselves on a search to find the truth. on the search they think they are always getting closer and closer. where in fact they are just wasting their time. they are trying to figure something that is not there. and they start wasting their time, they go through the whole day just thinking about that. and they get to the point that they start mumbling to themselves. i could go into detail on every lyric on why its about this, but i aint got the time, the want or the green. ;)

i say everyone in here is CRAZY!!!!!! but think about it. everyone does have a right to say whatever they want whenever they want, which also gives the right to tell them in any way you want, whether you disagree or not. but it does look dumb when you make fun of typing mistakes when your comeback has mistakes as well.
one more thing, you have to admit that what makes this sight interesting are the different opinions. if the only people who came to the lyrics page, like this one, and wrote the same thing over & over again, "i love linkin park" there the best etc..... then it would be boring. the fact that people argue and say they dont like whoever, and that other people argue back,( like toolapc and nto the dork) is what makes this a fun website, so bring in all the opinions. i personally love linkin park no matter what people say. argue if you want. peace out ;)
