I agree with what alot of other people seem to be sayin about linkinpark in here. i was really into this band before mtv started playin their songs and identifying them as a teenie bopper band. Although nearly all of the songs on the cd seem to relate to many things that happen in our lives, in the end is the 1 song that stands out in that saying you cant let all the details get you down in life cuz like the song says, in the end it doesnt even matter

ok i have just skimmed through a few of these comments, mainly the latter ones, and i have to say that although this is a decent song, i strongly agree with emochris and metallican41... linkin park are MANUFACTURED by the same people who did o-town, and they do NOT write their own music so how can this be all deep and meaningful when some suits sitting round a table came up with it. credit where its due- ie not to linkin park. can't remember who said it but think it was emochris-- "they don't sing or play instruments. and turntables are not instruments". go read some poetry or cry and then you will have real feelings and listen to real music from the heart. try "sick cycle carousel" by lifehouse. or radiohead/muse/jimmy eat world. ie decent stuff

I love this song. Most of Linkin Park's songs let you draw your own interpretation. That is one of the reasons LP is one of the best rock bands i have heard in a long time.

Like some people have said, it can mean different things to different people.And yes i heard this song a while before it came out on radio, but i don't think it matters who heard it when.To me this song means alot.I loved it when it first came out..got a little sick of hearing it for a while, but after recently being dumped by my gf i have been playing it alot. You see our relationship lasted just over a year and then she ended it without much of a reason.I am still not totally certain y it was because i loved her so much,i tried my best to make her happy and do everything by her.So to me this song is saying that it doesn't matter how hard you try, and how good things can be, somehow they change and u fall hard.Some things are inevitable and you have no control whatsoever on the outcome.

Linkin park is just like every shitty rap/rock band. The try too rip off the Deftones and still suck MTV's collective dick. They aren't the Deftones, they should stop trying. Also screw all of you that say "I was into this band before MTV, now i think they sold out." Fuck you, if you're into this music you should ask yourself what is your fucking purpose in life. who gives a fuck about how "In touch" you are with the music buisness, and you know when the next big thing is. Hello there toolapc. You might have the worst comebacks I have ever laid eyes on. Are you retarded or just really fucking dumb? Record Companies were doing so well with pop boy bands that they decided to make a rock boy band...and Linkin Park was born...but so what? They're having fun, making a ton of money, and I'm not a huge fan of them...but they're pretty good at it. If any of you had the same opportunity you'd take it...i guarantee this.

one more thing....missheidijo...don't talk about people not making "intelligent comments" until you learn to spell the word positive.

Take a minute to read your posts. I'n fact, take an hour. You've written so many offensive, insulting, whiny, or downright stupid and unnecessary comments. We know that your "Sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me" attitude is all a big façade, because you rage at anyone who tells you to shutup. I take their side.
When I say their, I think I speak for almost everyone on the site. No one wants or needs to hear your compaining or insulting. It's offensive. It's Stupid. It's not needed. Why waste everyone's time just to make them hate you.
You seem to think you come off as smart and that everyone likes you. Whether you have friends or not is none of my business, but I don't think you have many friends on here.
You insult everyone with an opinion, and when they get mad, you insult them again, and after they leave because you're being an idiot, you have to squeeze one more insult before you move on to the next thread to start with another person.

Binkie, thank you very much for you feedback, I will take it into concideration. As for insulting my logic, that is a bad idea. It is very possible and logical to hate someone that you don't know, for example Osama Bin Laden and Adolf Hitler to name a few. I am sure that a good majority of Americans don't know these people, but hate them hole heartedly. I feel this sort of hatred for you, you attempts to mock me fall short, perhaps you should 'tack' some pointers from ToolAPC, because he sure ripped into me hard. In conclusion, you arguement is weak and both of you are worthless.
