I think this song is about a Zebra that escaped from the zoo...

Its aboutt he zebra falling in love and wanting to get married but it cant, obviosly, because he is a zebra.

And he is a rapping zebra that likes to rap cos his singing voice is atrocios (like a certain band i can think of, but he crams his voice with so many computer effects he passes then uses a turntable to make the sound m" new "m and m"original"m.

This song means a lot to me as I used to know a singing zebra.

this song is not inspiring at all but it's a great song because of the variationr ock/rap shit. I think linkin park's music is kinda like kid rock's and uncle kraker's. this song means that youc an try as hard as you can and do everythig and anything but you still screwed in the end.

First of all, people who don't like Linkin Park shouldn't even post on this board, if you have something negative to say, keep it to yourself; don't waste board space and readers time by posting your bullshit.

Linkin Park is not a creation of any record label, if some of you idiots actually read their biography, you would find that most of the group started in high school and that Chester and Mike Shinoda write the lyrics to the songs together. "In The End" is (in my opinion) the best of their work because it blends everything on the album together. The first time I heard that song I ordered the CD. It is one of the greatest songs I have ever heard and most people still don't get the video to it. The elements of nature represent the lyrics. The huge whale-like animal floating around represents the impossible and hard tasks in our lives. The rain represents anger and death, and the blooming flowers at the end suggest that life goes on. There is more to a music video than a band singing while surrounded by hundreds of jumping teens. Linkin Park's videos actually have something to do with the song.

And finally, those of you who like to put Linkin Park in the "teeny bopper" category because they appear on TRL/MTV have no sense of what it takes to be a successful band and go on MTV. Only the best make it, and going on TRL/MTV doesn't take anything away from their music. But then again most people who hold that opinion are just blood-thirsty satanic goths who are upset that bands like Slipknot and Mudvayne don't get the mainstream attention that Linkin Park gets.

i love this song reminds me of when i kept trying to work things out with my x. In the end it doesn't even matter! We're not together no more, I had to fall to lose it all. Oh well this song is bad ass anyways.

This song has so much meaning to me because every single lyric applies to something that I went through not too long ago, it was one of the most difficult things I've ever gone through and it was comforting to know that someone else has had those feelings at one time or another. Linkin Park is truely the best.
