    General Comment:Yeah, Really. There definitely are still good punk bands these days and when I go to a local punk show I say I'm going to a punk show, not a "rock 'n' roll show".

    I don't see why everyone fusses over this "punks dead vs. punk's not dead" business every single time the word punk is used in a song. Punk can mean a lot of things to different people. Why get your fucking panties in a bunch over it? punx, punk, whatever. Can't we just listen to a genre?

    General Comment:THIS IS NOT A NO NAME PUNK BAND. this is the descendents, guys that bridged Black Flag's social relevance with simpler topic such as girls and fishing so that we were lucky enough to have bands like NOFX

    Rock heirarchy
    Ramones>>Black FLAG>>Descendents>>NOFX

    and NOFX led to countless shitty pop bands but you can't hold that against them.

    But as for this song it was WAYY ahead of it's time. Hell, this would have been ahead of it's time in the late nineties when you look at what the scene has become in the new millenium.

    A quick poll, does anyone say they like "Punk" anymore? Or do you just say "I'm going to a Rock 'n Roll show?

    General Comment:'No name punk band'? No, dumbass, a no name punk band would be Green Day. The Descendents are probably the most important (and underrated) punk band ever, well, I guess in terms of influence.
