Lyrics for Forsaken as interpreted by screen dream

Forsaken Lyrics
I'm over it!
You see I’m falling in the vast abyss...
Clouded by memories of the past...
At last…I say...

I hear it fading, I can't speak it,
or else you will dig my grave;
You fear them finding, always whining...
take my hand now be alive!

You see I cannot be forsaken,
because I’m not the only one,
We walk amongst you feeding, raping...
Must we hide from everyone?

I’m over it.
Why can't we feed together embrace it,
sleeping so long, taking off the mask,
At last…I say...

My fear is fading, I can't speak it,
or else you will dig my grave,
You fear them finding, always whining...
Take my hand now be alive!

You see I cannot be forsaken,
because I’m not the only one,
We walk amongst you feeding, raping...
Must we hide from everyone? (x2)

Everyone...
Everyone...
Everyone…

this song was sung by JD on the "queen of the damned" movie. some of the QoD songs are sung by other artists on the soundtrack.

undisturbed, you're absolutely right. Korn played the song, but it's Draiman behind the mic. JD doesn't sound like that at all (what were u all thinking?????)

who ever said that korn performed this song , they didnt. some members from the band played in selected songs of the QOTD soundtrack but the most Jon davis had to do with this song was that he wrote it.

Jon sung it and produced it. Some other guest stars preformed as well. Disturbed did a shitty version of it.

And yes, it is Jon. Your ears must not work because that is obviously him. And who the hell is Draiman?

wow. The hells up with you guys? There is more than one version of this song one by Jon himself the man who wrote it and once for the released soundtrack by David Draiman Not by any means A "shitty version" of it, its an awesome song preformed by two amazing artists. This isn't the only song like it either the Queen Of The Damned sound track has a few songs that were originally done by Jon I'm told and preformed by other artists on the Sound Track, such as System which on the Sound Track is done by Chester from Linkin Park. Thereforemost everyone here is right, so stop bitching at bitching at eachother.

Nicely put :) So moving on to the MEANING of this song...anyone think maybe there is a lil message of divided we fall? 'I cannot be forsaken,Because I'm not the only one' Yet at the end of the day, he is forsaken by his own kind as he doesn't have the freedom to make himself known...that's my take on it anyway!

Nintendofan- you are an idiot.
Disturbed's version was far from shitty.
Draiman- is David Draiman, the lead singer of Disturbed.
Anyway, the song's about being a vampire and not wanting to hide it from everyone- if they are 'walking amongst' everyone 'feeding, raping' he figures they shouldnt have to hide.
That was a main point in Queen Of The Damned- because Lestat revealed to the world that he was in fact a vampire.
Marius had explained that to him and he hadn't liked it.
In the movie, Lestat sung this to call all the vampires out of hiding.
I think.
Actually, the movie confused me a bit-
What did Lestat initially want??

oh my god. some of you are complete morons. it seems people have tried to clear it up but no one is understanding. JONATHAN DAVIS WROTE ALL FIVE OF THE LESTAT SONGS, in addition to scoring the film. in the movie it is CLEARLY his voice. On the soundtrack however, due to contracting reasons, he couldnt perform the songs, so they had Wayne, David, Chester, Marilyn, and Jay sing the songs, all the while munky and head played guitar.

A lot of the original songs from Queen of the Damned can be found on JD's solo project, Alone i PLay - although they will be slightly different from their movie-counterparts, they are still definately worth a listen, and so is the rest of the music on the album.
