Well that's alright
and that's alright
2000 miles we stood
and that's alright

and that's alright
if that's alright
i'll see you in the morning
if that's alright

what would you do if i wrote you a song
would you give me some lovin when i get home
or would you be mad at me if i had a hard time
gettin a hold of you
you know i try all the time

and i think that
you don't know anybody that could be
so bad
and if you did
you'd be wonderin where
I'm at
well i'll be home when tomorrow mornin comes

what would you do if i sang you this song
the connection is bad but that's only the phone
'cause when my words kiss your ear
i'll be right there
the message is long
but this is your song

and i think that
you don't know anybody that could be
so bad
but if you did
you'd be wonderin where
i'm at
well i'll be home when tomorrow mornin...

and that's alright
'cause i'll be home when tomorrow mornin...
and that's allllright
'cause i'll be home when tomorrow mornin comes.

General Comment:I can definately see this song being about homesickness yet one part seems to go in a different direction

    and i think that

    you'd be wonderin where
    I'm at
well i'll be home when tomorrow mornin comes

this part to me seems to mean that i girl doesnt really understand the boy or the classic girl liking the bad boy and she sees the narrator as a nice guy. the narrator claims that if she knew how bad he really liked her should then it turn be in pursuit of him or shed "be wondering where (hes) at" and he assures her that he will "be home when tomorrow moring comes" or in other words he will be waiting

General Comment:Jack said in the Aol Sessions that the openings verse was a phone message left for his wife while he was on a surf trip to Reunion Island off the coast of South Africa. With the time difference, he couldn't get a hold of her so instead left that opening first which grew into Tomorrow Morning.

General Comment:I have never been to Haleiwa... and I have lived on Oahu my whole life...haha, I am just such a orchestra dork, and a speechie, that I don't have time to go to places on the island and just hang out... I am such a loser..

General Comment:obviously, this song is about missing people that are far away, or just being homesick. Just read it.
