Kick Out the Jams, motherfuckers!
I'm gonna kick 'em out

Well I feel pretty good
And I guess that I could get crazy now, baby
'Cause we all got in tune
When the dressing room got hazy now, baby

I know how you want it, child,
Hot, sweet, and tight
The girls can't stand it
When you're doing it right When they're up on the stand
And then they kick out the jams, yes
Kick out the jams, I like to kick 'em out

Yes I'm startin' to sweat
You know my shirt's all wet
What a feelin'
And the sound that abounds and
Resounds and rebounds off the ceiling
You gotta have it, baby
You can't do without
When you get the feelin'
You've got the sounds above
Put that mic in my hand
And let me kick out the jams
Yes, kick out the jams, got to kick 'em out

So you got to get it up
And then can't get enough
No you can't get enough, Miss Mackenzie
'Cause it gets in your brain
It drives you insane leaping frenzy
The ...... the faster you funk
If you want to feed my rocket
Till the morning comes
Let me be who I am
And let me kick out the jams
Yes kick out the jams
I done kick 'em out

P.S. Kick OUt the Jams, Motherfuckers! peace, sheena

General Comment:I like this Rage song particularly because it's a 'jam' song, whereas most of their others are metal and rap songs.

General Comment:"People said 'oh wow, kick out the jams means break down restrictions' etc., and it made good copy, but when we wrote it we didn't have that in mind. We first used the phrase when we were the house band at a ballroom in Detroit, and we played there every week with another band from the area.

"We got in the habit, being the sort of punks we are, of screaming at them to get off the stage, to kick out the jams, meaning stop jamming. We were saying it all the time and it became a sort of esoteric phrase. Now, I think people can get what they like out of it; that's one of the good things about rock and roll.

General Comment:I would also like to point out that Monster Magnet did a version of this song also. Though I do agree with you that the president's version was the best. Though it really doesn't resemble the original much.

General Comment:Uh, MC5 where far from "Psychedelic". The Motor City Five could of been one of loudest and raw Rock n Roll bands of the 60s.

This Song was known for MC5's Lead singer yelling "Kick Out thhe Jams Muthafuker!" before this song started, which was a no-no in music standards in the 60s.

General Comment:this song was originally done by 60s psychedelic rockers MC5, and has since been covered by artists such as silverchair, presidents of the USA and the late great jeff buckley. and they all did better versions than rage. particuarly the presidents, they added their own nonsensical fun lyrics to the verses.

General Comment:I, personally, think this song is about kicking out of said jams.

    But that's just me, though.
