  General Comment:I got the real meaning listen. This guy knows God and he has even enjoyed the feeling of God's presence. it clearly says: "I know your open arms too well 'cause I've lost myself there many times before". However, it seems that this guy is getting tired of following the truth which is God. He just can't handle this path and stay focus on God. so he is kind of taking the decision of getting away from the real path, that he needs times for himself. God doesn't want to give up on him. It clearly says:"you speak your mind to me again, you force your words so deep within" so in a few words he kind of saying that he does not want to have anything to do with God.

  General Comment:I don't know about the relationship... but I find a different meaning to this song, I think it has to do with what he's going through... People telling him what to do, to trust them and then when he says he has enough 'It's My Life' he is trying to break away from them.... I don't really know, but hey I tried.... Good song though...

  General Comment:i read from other posts in the other threads about this band being a Christian band and having songs related to that topic. I'm doubtful whether they are really Christian, but i think this song could be related to that topic too. The Love ( i dunno why it was written in caps in the lyrics ) probably refers to love from God. The speaking of mind and forcing of words could probably refer to the guilt he feels when he doesn't do what is considered right in Christianity. And Christianity has it's 'rules' if u wanna call it that, so that's what he means by 'u tell me how to live'. And he goes 'but it's my life' when he rejects all of that, maybe being unable to continue a Christian life.
  Open arms is the open arms of God, always willing to accept you as long as u accept him. He's been there many times before and got lost in the sense that he tries to going back to Christianity and leading a right life but has failed many times, and once again he shows rejection to it all and wants to break from the grip. The chorus then shows his rejection and maybe resentment. The last part also.

  General Comment:yea I agree with everyone on this one!!, hes saying that he needs to get out of the relationship he is/was in because shes being controlling, and when he does get away, he ends up falling for her again, but this time he's fed up and thats what it means to me when he says "it;s My Life"
