Take your head around the world
See what you get
From your mind
Write your soul down word for word
See who's your friend
Who is kind
It's almost like a disease
I know soon you will be
Over the lies, you'll be strong
You'll be rich in love and you will carry on
But no - oh no
No you won't be mine
Take your straight line for a curve
Make it stretch, the same old line
Try to find if it was worth what you spent
Why you're guilty for the way
You're feeling now
It's almost like being free
And I know soon you will be
Over the lies, you'll be strong
You'll be rich in love and you will carry on
But no - oh no
No you won't be mine
Take yourself out to the curb
Sit and wait
A fool for life
It's almost like a disease
I know soon you will be
Over the lies, you'll be strong
You'll be rich in love and you will carry on
But no - oh no
No you won't be mine
See what you get
From your mind
Write your soul down word for word
See who's your friend
Who is kind
It's almost like a disease
I know soon you will be
Over the lies, you'll be strong
You'll be rich in love and you will carry on
But no - oh no
No you won't be mine
Take your straight line for a curve
Make it stretch, the same old line
Try to find if it was worth what you spent
Why you're guilty for the way
You're feeling now
It's almost like being free
And I know soon you will be
Over the lies, you'll be strong
You'll be rich in love and you will carry on
But no - oh no
No you won't be mine
Take yourself out to the curb
Sit and wait
A fool for life
It's almost like a disease
I know soon you will be
Over the lies, you'll be strong
You'll be rich in love and you will carry on
But no - oh no
No you won't be mine

I've felt this before where you feel so rejected/hurt that you want the other person to share the burden or feel the pain you feel was unjustly placed on you.
I love the haunting vibe... Possibly one of my top 10 fav's.
It's probably been said countless times [I can't be bothered reading] but...
I think its about a girl who is so... everything... and he knows it- but she's been lying, and obviously stuffed up her chance with him.
And he's saying that when she realises what she's been doing she's going to be "strong, rich, in love" and she'll carry on [perhaps saying that she could easily find someone else]
But at the same time, she won't be his.
And by the sounds of things, he was the most important thing.
Now it's gone.
Chilling. I love it.
Such a beautiful song, written and composed which such raw emotion.
I feel like everyone can interpret it in his\her own way. I relate to it in my own way, I've travelled a lot and left love behind more than once. And the feeling that tears you apart when you love someone and know that you can’t be with them, that the love you had will dissipate and she’ll love someone else, that she won’t be yours, that feeling is perfectly orchestrated and touches me every time I hear this song.
Once again,
THIS is ART.
Write your soul down word for word
See who's your friend, who is kind
Then try to find if it was worth what you spent
Why you're guilty for the way you're feeling now
I feel this song describes a man who was in love with a woman who had it all together outwardly. She had everything she could ever want and all the male attention imaginable. The two of them broke up for whatever reason (it seems like she left him to 'find herself'). His words are saying she'll easily find someone else who loves her but it won't compare to the love he gave to her and would have continued to.
