This is who I am and this is what I like GC,
Sum, Blink and MxPx rocking my room
If you're looking for me I'll B at the show
I can never find a better place to go
Until the day I die I promise I won't change
So you better give up

Yeah I don't want to B told to grow up
And I don't want to change
I just want to have fun
Yeah I don't want to B told to grow up
And I don't want to change
So you better give up
'cause I'm not gonna change
I don't want to grow up

I'd like to stay up and spend hours on the phone
Hanging out with all my friends and never being at home
I'm impolite and I make fun off everyone
I'm immature but I will stay this way forever
Until the day I die
I promise I won't change
So you better give up

I don't want to be told to grow up
And I don't want to change
I just want to have fun
I don't want to be told to grow up
And I don't want to change
So you better give up
'Cause I'm not going to change
I don't want to grow up

I don't want to be told to grow up (grow up, grow up)
I don't want to be told to grow up (grow up, grow up)

I don't want to be told to grow up
And I don't want to change
I just want to have fun
I don't want to be told to grow up
And I don't want to change
So you better give up

I don't want to be told to grow up
And I don't want to change
I just want to have fun
I don't want to be told to grow up
And I don't want to change
So you better give up
'Cause I'm not going to change
I don't want to grow up

'Cause I'm not going to change
I don't want to grow up

General Comment:Swearing doesn't make you cooler or more mature... I find it kind of annoying... unless you get really mad and it slips. Um, so, they do swear in I'm just a kid you know...

Good Charlotte, Sum 41, and Blink 182 are all good bands, except I can't put my finger on who MXPX is. I don't think I've heard this song though... maybe a bit of it...

General Comment:wow Jay696 you obviously dont understand. this band is more or less for younger kids that feel that they are losers. and that are struggling day by day because they get picked on., I dont really like Simple Plan but i can see their point of view on the song. i personally, dont think you understand what its like being a kid and having no friends. I never lived that way, so i wouldnt know, but hearing you talk like that its pretty harsh. They help kids realise what life is about! And they dont swear! So what? Do they need to swear! like holy! grow up!

General Comment:i cant believe these fuckin idiots say the like blink 182 and sum 41. they are a disgrace to punk, and music in general. i know blink 182 and sum 41 are not actually punk but they are like a million times better than these fags. at least sum and blink dont write songs from the perspective of a nine year old. the songs from simple plan are all the same whinny crap about being a fuckin kid and being a loser and all the same shit over and over again. they have no creativity no musical talent and they suck cuz they are a bunch of losers. they are not so impolite as they say they are. they are no trouble makers like blink and sum 41. they dont even curse. the only bad word they have said in their entire life is "dick" in another of the stupid songs they have. what a stupid little band i cant even describe how much i hate them. you people should listen to music that actually says something and has a meaning.

General Comment:GET THE HELL OUT, YOU FUCKING TROLLS.

I CAN relate to this song, because being an adult stinks. People who think skepticism and apathy are "mature" simply don't know what fun is.

I like to have fun, and I am impolite and I do make fun of everyone--but that's part of who I am. If that makes me a baby, then give me my pacifier, fuckers.
