If I find my way back home, I'll say what am I doing here?
We have made our camp, but not settled. Nothing can touch us here.
We took the van one night. The three of us, contraband, and our bikes.
The city was left behind. Our own vacation, our own weekend,
our own fear and loathing except on Cape Cod.
At two in the morning when my body's not attached to my head.
We got on our bikes and rode. My legs like Jello when we rode that night.
Hot livers and cold purse. The day was going everywhere in a hurry,
Instead of nowhere fast. Take a pill. Do substances. Have a drink.
Recreational drug use to drive golf balls.
It's the most comfortable and uncomfortable place.
The discomfort is not in a bad way.
No, not in a bad way. Don't make me go home.
My own chocolate heart.
Look at your scales, your head is on all wrong.
I've got monsters on my brain.
A towel on his head after jumping off the pier,
Rama said I looked like a Kennedy.
And Ryan's taking pictures.
And flattery doesn't make sense in our state.
We had to make our own fear and loathing on Cape Cod.

General Comment:Road trips to the cape are wonderful. Even though it's only an hour drive from where I live to crossing the bridge, the Cape really feels like a totally different place.

General Comment:It's really cool. It kinda relates to me in two ways. I lived in Las Vegas, NV for almost 19 years and then I moved out to Cape Cod about a month ago. And it's just about leaving town to go someplace nice to have a good time with the people you care about.

General Comment:I love this song, it makes me think about being with freinds taking a road trip and ive never been to capecod, but i bet it explains it pretty well if that what everybody else thinks, and its just so right about everything... i love when he says at two in the morning, when my bodys not atttached to my head...Its so true, cause i know it doesnt feel it, and i think when he says the day was going every where in a hurry, instead of nowhere fast means it was going everywhere in a rush so u couldnt get anywhere fast, instead of nowhere quick, and fast, and man i dont know if im making since, sry if im screwing you up,on what you think this song means, anyways haha its a great song.

General Comment:I find it quite ironic that one of the members used to teach.. first grade, I think? Now that's what kind of teacher I would have liked.
